19 Young Catholics Complete Group Leader Training in Waldmünchen
Nineteen young individuals from Cham and Schwandorf recently participated in a group leader training course. Held at the youth education center in Waldmünchen, the first part of this course focused on equipping volunteers within the Catholic Church with essential skills for their roles.
The participants, hailing from Eschlkam, Roding, and Waldmünchen in the Cham district, delved into various topics crucial for effective local volunteering. These included understanding motivation, identifying key qualities and tasks of a group leader, fostering teamwork, recognizing group phases, and exploring different leadership styles.
Organized under the Juleica framework, the Catholic youth organizations ensured the training aligned with the nationwide standardized ID for volunteer youth workers in Germany. This indicates a commitment to providing a consistent and recognized standard of training for group leaders.
