Approved Initiative: Free Active School Begins Collaboration with Elementary and General Schools in Neuss

Active school program granted approval for collaboration between a FAN organization and both elementary and general schools in Neuss, initiating free active schooling.

The Free Active School (FAN) in Neuss, Germany, has already started operating in part of its building, with plans for continued growth. The school, intended for Free Learners, has been actively preparing for the upcoming school year, despite not yet having the permit.

Justine Kleier, the managing director of FAN GUG, has confirmed that there is already a waiting list with around 50 more children expected to join FAN next year. The school currently has 55 children enrolled, including 30 in elementary school and 25 in comprehensive school.

In an effort to accommodate this growth, FAN plans to rent three more rooms from the city by 2026. The school has already made significant improvements to the building, with rooms being painted, cleaned, and equipped with learning materials and furniture.

FAN cooperates with the Free Active School Am Niederrhein (FASAN) in Mönchengladbach and maintains good contacts with the Free Active School Wülfrath. The school is fortunate to have nine learning guides and a social worker on its team.

The opening ceremony, open to the public, is scheduled for early October. The exact date will be announced in local newspapers. FAN is excited to welcome the community to its new home and share its vision for education.

While details about the vision, upcoming plans, expected growth, and partnerships are not currently available, it is clear that FAN is committed to providing a high-quality education for its students. The school's dedication to its cause and its growth potential make it an exciting addition to the educational landscape in Neuss, Germany.

Other growth plans for the Free Active School (FAN) might involve expanding their education-and-self-development approach to accommodate the additional 50 children expected next year. The school's other-oriented lifestyle, evident in its partnerships with FASAN and Wülfrath, could potentially extend to more collaborations as FAN continues to grow and stake its claim in the education realm.
