The **PAINT international** children's art exhibition, a showcase of young talent and cultural exchange, is set to take place at the Intercultural Meeting Point PAULA during the First Advent weekend. This event is the culmination of various workshops and courses held for children throughout the autumn holidays.

One such event was the **Creative Plant Discovery Day**, a four-day holiday program focused on nature, held at Krea-Mobil and refugee accommodation in Bensberg. Children learned about different tree species, such as the small-leaved, mountain, and field maple, by collecting leaves and identifying their genus with the help of books, identification apps, and educators.

Another highlight was the **"Theater Worlds"** course, which took place at the youth cultural center UFO in Bensberg. This program focused on stage performance, courage, and energy, and four Ukrainian kids were wonderfully integrated.

The **Print and Stamping Days** workshop, held during the last weekend of the holidays, was another offering for children aged 8 and above. In this workshop, children learned diverse printing techniques and used round everyday objects, cityscapes stamped using geometric shapes, and demonstrated scratching drawings onto Tetra Paks.

The **"Young Heroes"** week, a week-long event specifically for boys aged 10 and above, included community actions, movement, competition, and creative activities. Five workshops were offered for children during this week, including the activity "Designing Future Worlds" aimed at children aged 8 and above, which involved creating drawings, collages, and photographs.

The vernissage for the **PAINT international** exhibition will take place on Friday, 29th November, at 5 pm, and the exhibition can be visited on Saturday, 30th November, and Sunday, 1st December, each day from 3 pm to 6 pm.

For those interested in learning more about the PAINT international exhibition, visit the official website of the project or organizer, look for past editions of the **"The Day in GL"** newsletter, or follow the organizing body or newsletter on social media channels. The local news overview is sent to inboxes every morning at 7:07 AM, making it an excellent source for updates on the exhibition and other events happening in the community.

During the autumn holidays, the Creative Plant Discovery Day provided an opportunity for children to expand their education-and-self-development and learning about different tree species. Additionally, the "Designing Future Worlds" activity within the Young Heroes week encouraged children to delve deeper into the realm of learning and creativity.
