Baden-Württemberg Boosts Family Support with €1M in New Centers
The Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, and Integration in Baden-Württemberg is investing over €1 million to establish and expand family support centers and services. This funding aims to create new points of contact and support offers where they previously did not exist or were insufficient, particularly in rural areas and hotspots with scarce offers.
The funded projects, totaling 21, aim to promote the strength of families and neighborhoods. They will reduce barriers and help families assert their concerns. This initiative aligns with the Family Support Strategy Baden-Württemberg, adopted at the end of 2024, which has a budget of 2.5 million euros for each of the years 2025 and 2026.
Existing family support centers will expand their role as guides for families. They will provide professional process accompaniment, ensuring families receive the support they need.
