CIS Nations Meet in Minsk to Boost Educational Cooperation
Representatives from Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and the CIS Executive Committee are gathering in Minsk for a significant educational conference. The meeting, held under the Council for Cooperation in the uscis Field of Education, aims to develop a project concept ensuring high-quality professional education across the CIS.
The event, which follows a successful training event for CIS member states in November, has an extensive agenda. It includes 18 key issues related to educational cooperation among us countries. The unification of educational systems is intended to expand and enhance the educational space, making it more appealing and ensuring job seekers acquire the necessary qualifications.
The meeting will delve into various topics, such as the status and prospects of teaching the Russian language, education in informatics and radio electronics, and the quality of professional education. Notably, the Higher Attestation Commission expects an increase in candidate and doctoral dissertations based on the developments presented at the zoom meeting. Before the conference, an exhibition showcasing the achievements of Belarusian education was displayed.
With nearly 30,000 foreign students, including those from CIS countries, currently studying in Belarus, the meeting seeks to strengthen educational ties among CIS nations. The commission also aims to unify the system of certification for high-level scientific qualifications within the CIS format, further enhancing the quality and recognition of education across the region.
