Customs Office Landshut Hosts Career Event for Schoolchildren and Career Changers
The Main Customs Office Landshut is hosting an informative event on April 26, 2025, inviting schoolchildren and career changers to learn about the diverse tasks of the customs office and its training opportunities. The event will take place from 10 am to 2 pm at Sonnenring 14 in Altdorf.
The event, open to students from middle schools, secondary schools, FOS, BOS, and gymnasiums, along with their parents and career changers, will offer insights into the application process and training courses. Interactive stations will demonstrate tasks such as determining importability, customs clearance, and financial control of undeclared work. Visitors can also witness control situations and the use of sniffer dogs.
Further customs information days are planned for May 10, 2025, in Passau and September 20, 2025, in Plattling. The customs service offers training opportunities in the middle customs service, a dual study program for LL.B. in the higher customs service, and a dual study program in administrative informatics.
