Delhi University Announces Third Round of Undergraduate Admissions Under CSAS 2025
The University of Delhi has released the schedule for the third round of seat allocations for undergraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2025. Here's a breakdown of the key dates and activities:
Upgradation & Reordering (August 2 - August 3)
Candidates who have already been admitted in Rounds I or II can opt for an upgrade or reorder their programme-college preferences during this period. The upgradation and preference reorder window is open from 5 PM on August 2 to 4.59 PM on August 3, 2025.
Mid-Entry Application Window (August 8 - August 10)
This window is for candidates who missed earlier phases or whose applications were rejected. It will be open from 5:00 pm on August 8 (Friday) to 4:59 pm on August 10 (Sunday). A non-refundable mid-entry fee of Rs 1,000 is applicable for the mid-entry option.
Declaration of Third Round Allocation (August 13)
The declaration of third round seat allocations, including regular seats as well as CW, ECA, and sports quotas, will take place on August 13, 2025, at 5:00 pm.
Seat Confirmation
Admission is considered complete only after successful payment of applicable fees following the allocation. Candidates must pay the admission fee by 4.59 PM on August 7 and "Accept" the allocated seat between August 13 and August 17. The last date for fee payment in the third round is 4:59 PM on August 19.
Verification of Applications
Colleges will verify applications till August 18. Candidates are required to pay the admission fee by 4.59 PM on August 7 to allow colleges to verify and approve their online applications.
Grievances and Upgraded Allocations
No grievances regarding data or preferences submitted before August 10 will be entertained. The declaration of upgraded allocations, with auto-acceptance, will be released at 5 PM on August 5.
Special Provisions
The third round also includes fresh allocations and special category provisions such as CW, ECA, Sports, and Ward Quota. Only those who were rejected in the first two rounds due to mapping errors or eligibility issues will be allowed to edit their preferences during the mid-entry period.
