Police Department of Minden-Lübbecke Announces Information Event for Dual Study Program
The Police Department of Minden-Lübbecke has announced an information event on May 7, 2025, at 5 PM, at Marienstr. 82, 32425 Minden. No registration is required for this event.
This event will provide insights into the future career opportunities within the police in North Rhine-Westphalia (Polizei Nordrhein-Westfalen), specifically the three-year dual study program starting in autumn 2026 at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration. Police Chief Commissioner Alexandra Brakemann will be present to share details about the program.
The dual study program offers a unique opportunity to secure a conditional job offer for the police in North Rhine-Westphalia and simultaneously pursue a bachelor's degree at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration. Successful completion of the 'Next Level' program is a prerequisite for this opportunity.
The 'Next Level' program, which has been in operation since 2022, also provides the opportunity to obtain the university entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) within the two-year program at the Police Upper Secondary School.
For those interested in the investigative field, the dual study program offers the option to choose the study focus on investigations (Criminal Police).
The application process for the study start in autumn 2026 is currently underway, with the application deadline set for October 8, 2025. For more information, visit the official website at www.genau-mein-fall.de.
