Ev. Grundschule Loehne-Obernbeck Wins 'Healthy School' Award for Promoting Student Well-being
Ev. Grundschule Loehne-Obernbeck recently received the 'Healthy School' award, recognizing its commitment to promoting health and well-being among students and staff. The award was presented by Renata Lleshi from the Kreis-Gesundheitsamt and sports scientist Pascal Kramer.
The school participated in activities focusing on dental health, healthy nutrition, and social training, with support from external experts. Pascal Kramer led students through exercises that enhance coordination, concentration, learning ability, and motivation. To qualify, schools must implement at least three health-promoting measures for students and one for teaching staff. The 'Healthy Schools' program, supported by the Kreis-Gesundheitsamt for nine years, offers free individual and group offers for students and teaching staff. This year, four schools received the award, including Elisabeth-von-der-Pfalz-Berufskolleg in Herford, Grundschule in Westerenger, and Erich-Kaestner-Gesamtschule. Renata Lleshi highlights the crucial role schools play in promoting health, which is a central prerequisite for successful learning and personal development.
Ev. Grundschule Loehne-Obernbeck's dedication to health promotion has been recognized with the 'Healthy School' award. The school's efforts, along with those of other awarded institutions, demonstrate the importance of integrating health initiatives into the educational system.
