These appointments are part of a broader restructuring aimed at accelerating product launches and enhancing delivery capabilities, especially as Atom Bank prepares to release new savings products.

New Roles and Responsibilities
Rob Smith has been appointed as Head of Engineering, Rob Butcher as Head of Architecture, Faizah Rafique as Head of Business Analysis, James Kerruish as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Head of Service, Ges Richmond as Head of Lending Delivery, Orla Codyre as Head of Savings Delivery, Kath Langlands as Head of Platform and Enterprise Delivery, and Leanne Judge as Chief of Staff, with a focus on improving the effectiveness of the technology team.
Russell Collingham, who has been with Atom Bank over three years and moves from the role of Lead Enterprise Architect, will head the newly formed AI and Data Science team.
Internal Promotions and Expanded Roles
The appointments include nine internal promotions as part of a significant investment across the business. Leanne Judge, who has been with Atom Bank for 10 years, will oversee the Delivery Coaching team.
James Kerruish, who has been with Atom Bank over eight years, will lead the cyber security, safe change implementation, incident management, and service desk functions. The InfoSec and Service teams at Atom Bank span across all disciplines and delivery roles.
