Exploring the Haßberge district's future climate scenario: various activities scheduled

The Haßberge region is preparing for an exciting week of climate-focused activities and events as the Future Climate Experience Weeks commence. From September 26 to October 10, citizens of all ages are invited to participate in various activities promoting climate protection and sustainability.

On September 27, the Climate Festival of People for Future Haßberge will take place on the market square in Haßfurt from 10 am to 3 pm. This festival, themed 'Securely Towards the Future', offers interactive exhibits, workshops, and discussions for the whole family.

For children aged 3 to 8, an interactive activity called 'The Cow in the Refrigerator' will be held at the Fachakademie für Sozialpädagogik in Haßfurt on September 27. This activity engages young minds in discussions about climate change and sustainability in a fun and interactive way.

On September 28, two exciting events for children are planned. A discovery tour for children aged 6 to 10 will take place at the Bienen-Workshop in the Library and Information Center in Haßfurt at 10:30 am. Meanwhile, a 12-kilometer hike through the Knetzberge-Böhgrund nature reserve is scheduled for the same day, starting at 11 am with the Steigerwald Rangers.

For those interested in learning about sustainable energy supply in rural areas, an excursion to the solar park and heating center in Bundorf is scheduled for October 10. The excursion starts at 12 pm next to the fire station in Bundorf and lasts approximately three hours.

On October 1, Cordula Weimann, founder of the 'Omas for Future' movement, will be a guest at the Library and Information Center in Haßfurt. Starting at 7 PM, Ms. Weimann will discuss how life in Haßfurt could look like in 2035.

On October 8, the Mehrgenerationenhaus in Haßfurt is hosting a Fahrradkino at 3 pm. Participants can pedal together to project a film onto the screen using muscle power.
