Farewell to Police Trainees: Graduation Ceremony Set for August 27

A formal farewell ceremony for middle police service trainees will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The event will mark the end of their training at the University of Police Baden-Württemberg's Institute of Training Herrenberg.

The ceremony will occur at the Institute's location in Herrenberg, with State Criminal Director Sandra Zarges set to give a speech. She will also present an award to the best trainee of the year, recognising their exceptional performance during their time at the institute.

The Institute of Training Herrenberg is one of five training locations operated by the University of Police Baden-Württemberg. Led by Rector Univ.-Prof. Dr. Holger Mühlenkamp, the university offers comprehensive training programmes for aspiring police officers.

The farewell ceremony on August 27 will celebrate the trainees' achievements and mark their transition into active police service. The event promises to be an inspiring moment for both the graduates and the university.
