Festival Invitation: Participate in NWX 2023's Work and Future Festival
The New Work Experience (NWX) 2023 is set to take place on June 14, 2023, in Hamburg, Germany. This annual event, now in its 10th edition, promises to be a vibrant gathering of ideas, discussions, and performances, focused on shaping the future of work.
The event will unfold across four venues in Hamburg Harbor City, with the main hub being the New Work Harbour. Here, over 100 speakers and artists will grace 18 stages, sharing insights and perspectives on various themes related to the evolving world of work.
Some of the esteemed guests at NWX 2023 include Dr. Markus Gabriel, Dr. Eliza Filby, Sascha Lobo, Steffi Jones, and the Norwegian pop-rap duo Madcon, who will perform live.
The theme of NWX 2022 was "Cultural Change is the Sales of Tomorrow", and this year's event continues to explore similar themes. The focus is on cross-generational collaboration, skills shortages, modern leadership culture, and the impact of technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) on industries and job roles.
In addition to the main event, Xing, the professional network, is organising a job fair for students and graduates. This parallel event will focus on career entry, job search, first salary negotiation, and job interview. Masterclasses and workshops with renowned career and application coaches will be offered, providing valuable insights for job seekers.
Xing's studies reveal that job satisfaction is more important to employees than salary, and employees are optimistic about their future at work. The job fair aims to cater to this sentiment, offering opportunities for meaningful employment.
At the Xing job fair during NWX 2023 in Hamburg, companies such as Deutsche Bahn, Otto Group, and IBM will be recruiting. The study conducted by Xing shows that job change readiness remains high, indicating a pool of motivated and eager candidates.
The extra program for recruiters and HR professionals will focus on current developments in the labor market. Topics include the 4-day week, workation, hybrid work models, and new opportunities for HR through AI.
The 10th New Work Awards will also be presented on the evening of June 14, 2023. These awards honour pioneering ideas and projects for the future of work, recognising those who are leading the way in shaping the world of work for the better.
