Honors in Academia - Summer Season 2022
Middle Georgia State University has recognised a number of exceptional students in its Summer 2022 Academic Excellence program. The program honours students who excel in Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, and Undergraduate Certificate programs.
In the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Graphic Design, Kylie Welsh earned both Honor Roll and President's List honours. Micky Jordan and Kristin Weidemann also received President's List honours, while Haley Delgiacco received Honor Roll in the same program.
The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration saw McKenzie Maselka earn Honor Roll, and Jacob Ramirez and Pernell Andrews earn President's List honours.
In the Associate of Occupational Studies program, Jessica Thomas earned Honor Roll in Illustration. Elia Giuliani and Maria Jose Nunez Bonequi both earned Honor Roll and President's List honours in Illustration, with Elia Giuliani achieving Honor Roll with Distinction.
The Undergraduate Certificate program also had several honorees. Janey Schell earned Honor Roll in Graphic Design, while Angelique Shipley and Arnaldo Fonseca earned Honor Roll with Distinction in Web Design. Shonkia Bennett also earned an Undergraduate Certificate in Digital Media.
Nicholas Fairman earned Honor Roll and President's List honours in the Associate of Occupational Studies program in Digital Media. In the Undergraduate Certificate program, Zach Schlagel earned an honor in Graphic Design, and Tyne Bradley earned an Undergraduate Certificate in Digital Photography. Oscar Merritt, Victor Ramos, and Zachari Haselow also earned President's List honours in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Graphic Design.
Lori Wyre earned an Undergraduate Certificate in Digital Photography, and Sharla Fossen earned an Associate of Occupational Studies in Digital Photography. Micky Jordan and Michaela Flick also earned Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Graphic Design, with Micky Jordan achieving President's List honours.
Dr. Meryl P. Epstein, Dean of Academic Affairs, congratulated the honor roll recipients on their academic success.
