Documents Required
Candidates must bring the following documents to the examination hall:
- Printed IBPS PO 2025 Admit Card with a pasted passport-size photograph identical to the one used during registration.
- Valid Original Photo ID Proof and Photocopy (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence) with name matching the admit card.

Exam Structure
The IBPS PO 2025 exam consists of three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Each section has a total duration of 20 minutes and contains 35 questions, except for the English Language section which has 30 questions to be completed in 20 minutes. The total duration of the exam is 60 minutes for 100 marks.
Additional Guidelines
- Follow the prescribed dress code (usually simple, no accessories) and avoid carrying banned items (bags, electronic devices, stationery except permitted ones).
- Carry only the necessary stationery items if allowed; no electronic gadgets or mobile phones permitted inside the exam hall.
- During the exam, each section has a strict time limit (20 minutes per section), and candidates cannot return to previous sections once completed.
- Candidates are advised to focus on revising rather than learning new topics just before the exam and practice time management to maximize correct attempts rather than attempting all questions blindly.
By adhering precisely to these guidelines, candidates ensure a smooth exam experience without delay or risk of disqualification.
Remember, the IBPS PO Mains Exam Date 2025 is on 12th October 2025. Candidates are advised to prepare well and follow the instructions carefully to secure their place in one of the 11 participating public sector banks.
