In Solingen, language studio Colibri strengthens partnership with BtW

In an exciting development, Education Meets Business GmbH, a leading provider of practical further training in welding technology and related fields, is establishing a presence in Solingen and the surrounding area. The company, headquartered in Oberhausen, is partnering with the Colibri Language Studio to offer training programs for TUV-certified welders and vocational German courses.

The collaboration between the two entities centers on providing comprehensive training and support for individuals looking to become TUV-certified welders and improve their German language skills. Rosario Lo Vacco, who teaches German at the Colibri Language Studio, will be the direct contact person for Education Meets Business GmbH's welder training courses in Solingen.

The TUV-certified welder training program, lasting twelve months, is fully funded by the employment agency or job center. Participants who obtain a driver's license and acquire their first car (KfZ) can also receive a substantial subsidy of 2,000 euros from Education Meets Business GmbH. The training is practice-oriented, with around 85% practice and 15% theory, ensuring that participants receive hands-on experience and recognized certification meeting technical standards in welding.

In addition to the welder training, the partnership offers vocational German language courses tailored to support non-native speakers in acquiring the language skills needed for professional and workplace integration. The courses provided by Rosario Lo Vacco are specifically designed to focus on welding technology and craftsmanship topics.

The partnership places a strong emphasis on personalized assistance, including tailored learning plans and continuous mentorship, to address the unique needs of each individual participant and enhance their chances of professional success. Education Meets Business GmbH also provides individual support for participants, including assistance with administrative tasks, language lessons, and help in finding permanent employment.

Due to high demand for qualified welders on the labor market, graduates can expect attractive starting salaries. Education Meets Business GmbH operates additional locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, including Cologne, Mönchengladbach, Dortmund, Erkelenz, and Solingen (planned).

The Colibri Language Studio can be contacted via email at [email protected], phone 0212 / 68 92 68 68, or by visiting Keldersstr. 27, Solingen. Education Meets Business GmbH plans an information day in Solingen for the coming spring to advise personally and on-site about all offers. Participation in this event will be free.

This cooperative approach aims to improve both the technical qualifications and language competencies of participants, facilitating better employment prospects in the regional industry of North Rhine-Westphalia. The individualized support is a key feature to help learners overcome barriers and succeed in their vocational training and careers.
