In Turkey, the Diyanet Foundation is offering academic assistance to multitudes
The Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) is set to support 8,000 students in education this year, both domestically and internationally. This marks a significant expansion from last year, when the foundation provided educational support to 9,376 students.
TDV's educational programs are organised in Türkiye, a country that has been a hub for international education for many years. The foundation covers students' basic needs, including transportation, healthcare, books, and stationery, ensuring that students have everything they need to focus on their studies.
In addition to its domestic efforts, TDV has been active in the field of international education for many years. Last year, the foundation provided scholarships and educational support to students from 114 countries, with over 1,000 international students coming to Türkiye each year for education through TDV's programs.
Among the scholarship recipients this year are 700 Palestinian students who cannot access education in their own countries due to Israeli attacks. This is a testament to TDV's commitment to supporting students from all walks of life.
TDV's scholarships not only cover the financial needs of students but also support their academic, professional, and cultural development. The foundation organises programs such as semester and summer camps, symposiums, conferences, seminars, language courses, vocational programs, art workshops, and cultural trips to enhance students' knowledge and skills.
It is worth noting that a significant number of students who received scholarships from TDV have graduated. In fact, a total of 19,600 students who received scholarships from TDV have graduated. This speaks volumes about the foundation's success in providing quality education to its students.
