Minin University and NNGASU See Growth in Enrollment and New Programs
At a press conference on August 8, 2025, it was announced that both Minin University and NNGASU have experienced growth in their enrollment and new program offerings.
The demand for education at these institutions is high, with a surge in interest for the "Heat Engineering" and "Fire Safety" programs at NNGASU in particular. This increased demand could be attributed to the institutions' growing reputation, strategic priorities, or socio-economic factors driving demand for higher education in specific regions.
Minin University has taken a strategic step forward by launching a new program to train teachers for secondary vocational education institutions. This move is likely aimed at addressing the growing need for skilled educators in the vocational sector.
In addition to the increased demand and new programs, both Minin University and NNGASU have seen an increase in the number of budget spots available for students in 2025. This expansion allows for more students to be admitted, potentially diversifying the student body and reducing competition in the admission process.
The growth in enrollment is further reflected in the number of applicants, which has increased at both institutions compared to last year.
In a significant achievement, NNGASU has graduated the first magistrates from the corporate department of Mingrad and Minstroy of Nizhny Novgorod region. These graduates, now magistrates, were graduated from NNGASU and have gone on to make a positive impact in their respective fields.
While there is no information on whether the increase in budget spots and applicants is similar at NGPU, it is evident that both Minin University and NNGASU are experiencing positive growth and development in the educational sector.
