Krasnodar Boosts Educator Support with 16 Billion Ruble Budget
The Krasnodar region is boosting support for educators. Over 16 billion rubles have been allocated from the regional budget in 2025. This follows a decade of improvements, including new schools, mortgage calculator aid, and bonuses.
The region has seen significant investment in education infrastructure. Over 100 new schools have been built in the last ten years. Educators are also receiving financial support. Since 2022, nearly 1,300 teachers have benefited from mortgage calculator compensation. In Krasnodar, this amounts to 25,000 rubles. Young teachers and contest winners receive additional support in 33 municipalities.
Existing schools undergo regular capital repairs. From 2026, teachers can expect a monthly increase to 15,000 rubles. Those in need of housing can receive a 1 million ruble mortgage calculator payment. The regional government has introduced measures to attract and retain young educators, including professional development programs and financial incentives.
