Large-scale Law Enforcement Exercise Scheduled at Cesar-Klein-School in Ratekau
On September 13, 2025, the Police Directorate Luebeck will conduct a significant exercise at the Cesar-Klein-School in Ratekau. The exercise, which will take place between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, aims to enhance training for dealing with threat scenarios under realistic conditions.
The exercise will simulate a realistic threat scenario at a school. Residents and passersby are asked to avoid the exercise area to ensure a safe and smooth operation. Numerous law enforcement deployment forces from Luebeck and Ostholstein, along with special forces from the State Criminal Office and the Holstein rescue service, will participate.
Loud noises may be heard during the exercise, and there will be a significant presence of rescue and law enforcement vehicles, as well as the use of drones, around the exercise area on Baederstrasse and Preesterkoppel.
