Lecture Series Featuring Andrew Root at the Secular Ministry
The School of Theology at the University of the South is hosting a thought-provoking lecture series on October 1, 2025. Entitled "Ministry in a Secular Age," this event will feature lectures delivered by Andrew Root, the Carrie Olson Baalson Professor of Youth and Family Ministry at Luther Seminary.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. (CDT) with the first lecture, followed by two afternoon sessions at 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. (CDT). The lectures can be attended either online as a webinar or on the campus of the University of the South in Guerry Auditorium (68 Georgia Ave.).
