Park University Taps Bradford Peace for the Position of Residence Life and Education Director

Bradford Peace Appointed as Director of Residence Life and Education at Park University

Bradford Peace, a highly accomplished professional in the field of higher education, has been appointed as the Director of Residence Life and Education at Park University's flagship Parkville Campus, effective from July 22, 2025.

Peace comes to Park University with a wealth of experience, having served as a residential area coordinator at Ball State University since July 2023. Prior to this, he began his post-graduate studies at Ball State in 2018, where he also served as a graduate coordinator for student leadership and as a residential learning coordinator.

Peace's impressive academic credentials include three master’s degrees from Ball State University: a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance, a Master of Arts in sport administration, and a Master of Arts in student affairs administration in higher education. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, economics, and finance from Truman State University (Kirksville, Mo.). Currently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in higher education from Ball State, expected to be completed in 2027.

In his new role at Park University, Peace will oversee all residential buildings on the Parkville Campus, manage housing assignments, student housing accounts, facility needs, summer conferences/events, and related budgets. He will also supervise resident directors and resident assistants, provide oversight to the Residence Hall Council, graduate advisors, and collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and administer high-impact programs and services for residential students.

Peace's achievements in the field of higher education have been recognised by the Great Lakes Association of College and University Housing Officers. In 2022, he received the Outstanding Entry-Level Professional award for Indiana. In 2021-22, he co-authored the Trends Article of the Year. And in 2019, he was named Outstanding Graduate Practitioner by the association.

Peace will also be responsible for managing live-in paraprofessional and student staff, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment for all residential students at Park University's Parkville Campus.

With his extensive experience, academic qualifications, and proven track record of success, Bradford Peace is poised to make a significant contribution to Park University and its students.
