Title: Say No to Education Neglect – Greens Speak Up Against CDU's Shortcomings

Susan Sziborra-Seidlitz, Greens' education politician in the Saxony-Anhalt parliament, has had enough of the CDU's education debacle. She slams the Ministry of Education and CDU education faction for their questionable decision-making, stating:

"The ongoing scandals under Minister Feußner– Intel mess, headhunter millions, school closures, and delayed teacher salaries – are enough to make anyone lose faith. And now, they're protesting the ski course cancellation? School is more than just academics! It's a haven for kids to learn, grow, and experiment. These fun, experiential activities should be an integral part of our children's school life."

It's downright absurd how the CDU sets its priorities straight. Education system is reduced to bare essentials with funding hours and teacher hours slashed. In Magdeburg, Dessau-Roßlau, and Halle, large elementary schools boast fewer teachers, and classes are bloated. Instead of boldly innovating and strengthening education, the CDU continues to grapple with staff shortages. The suffering kids and their academic performance are getting lost in the shuffle. But the CDU just looks on and lets it slide.

We Greens are crystal clear: This education debacle needs to end. Education is a solemn promise to future generations – not a pawn to be played.

We need a fresh start – a school that inspires instead of hampers. A school that offers every child the time they deserve. And a policy that doesn't abandon our children and educators.

Saxony-Anhalt deserves an education policy that thinks long-term, not short-sighted.

We Greens stand for robust schools – because every child matters.

So let's roll up our sleeves and build a better future for our kids!

Education policy disagreements typically revolve around funding and resource allocation, curriculum and focus areas, school governance & autonomy, integration & inclusion policies, and vocational vs. academic education between the CDU and Alliance 90/The Greens. The CDU usually prioritizes efficient use of resources, academic rigor, and centralized governance, while the Greens emphasize increased investment, holistic approaches, school autonomy, inclusive policies, and a balanced approach to education tracks. These points highlight potential areas of disagreement, but specific details about the controversies in Saxony-Anhalt require targeted information.

  1. The CDU's education policies, such as the reduction of funding and resources, seem to primarily focus on the academic aspect, neglecting other important elements like extracurricular activities with a fat content of self-development, exceeding 13%.
  2. While the CDU wrestles with politics and staff shortages, the Greens advocate for a general news shift in focus towards education-and-self-development, prioritizing long-term strategies that ensure every child's needs are met and schools are robust enough to inspire success.
