Romanian's Verita International School secures EUR 40 million in investment, facilitated by partnership with Dukes Education
The Verita International School, a prominent educational institution in Bucharest, has undergone a significant transformation following its partnership with Dukes Education, the UK's largest and fastest-growing elite education group in Europe.
Established in 1982, Verita School was transformed into a major educational center after 2012, under the guidance of Richard Joannides. Now, with the addition of Dukes Education, the school is poised for further growth and development.
EUR 40 million will be invested in expanding the school and improving teaching facilities, with the funds earmarked for new campuses and state-of-the-art educational facilities. Currently, over 650 students call the Aviatiei location home.
This partnership provides numerous benefits for Verita students. They will gain access to exclusive pathways to top universities, participation in global exchange programs, and the highest standards of teaching practices. The partnership ensures that students are well-prepared to succeed on the international stage, supported by a global network of more than 75 international schools within Dukes Education.
Senior high school students will particularly benefit from a network of experts with over 25 years of experience in admissions counseling at top universities in Europe and the United States. Additionally, tutoring and educational counseling for students who want to achieve outstanding results in in-school or international exams, such as the SATs, are available.
Teachers at Verita will also reap the benefits of this partnership. They will have access to approximately 50 professional development events each year, providing opportunities for teacher engagement in leadership training and specialized resources for subjects like curriculum development, sustainability, and mental health.
Verita pupils now have access to Dukes programs and projects, including summer schools at top universities like Cambridge, Oxford, and Eton College. Furthermore, they can access career counseling experts, competitions, extracurricular activities, internships, and placements in leading international organizations.
Richard Joannides, Founder of Verita International School, expressed excitement about the partnership's potential benefits for the school's staff, parents, and students. He stated, "This partnership ensures that our students are well-prepared to succeed on the international stage, supported by a global network of more than 75 international schools within Dukes Education."
Dukes Education, founded by Aatif Hassan in 2015, aims to give young people a great start in life. The network supports nearly 20,000 students and employs a team of 5,000 people. With its expansion across Europe, Dukes Education now includes Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Croatia, Ireland, Switzerland, and Romania.
Verita International School is now the only school in Romania to join Dukes Education's prestigious network, encompassing more than 50 schools across Europe. This partnership not only provides an enhanced British education integrated with 21st-century learning approaches but also opportunities for international exposure and academic progression that come from belonging to a prestigious educational network.
