School's PBR Performance Night: Celebrating Skills, Unity, and Creativity!
The Music School, a renowned institution with campuses in London, Los Angeles, Ibiza, and Online, recently hosted its PBR Showcase. This event, a hub of connection and collaboration, offered a platform for aspiring students to showcase their original music and performing talent.
The PBR Showcase on January 16, 2025, at the Penn St campus in London, featured performances from current students enrolled in various music-related degrees such as DJing, music production, sound engineering, vocal performance, radio, software engineering, and songwriting. Notable performers included Sam The Zoologist and Leah Haworth.
Aspiring students can seize this opportunity to be part of the next wave of school talent. They can submit their original music to PBR for consideration. This can be done by sending their demos to hello@our schoolrecordings.com or by booking a mentor session with Kwame Kwaten or John Fortis.
The event was structured to include a networking session, a panel discussion with the PBR team, and performances from students. It served as an excellent opportunity for students to engage with lecturers, mentors, and the PBR team for advice and insights. In particular, students in the Music Production and Vocal Performance degree were encouraged to participate.
The team of industry experts at the school has earned a prestigious Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), placing the Music School among the very best institutions, including Oxford, Cambridge, Exeter, and Imperial.
