State insurance professionals in Primorye held an instructional session on insurance matters

The All-Russian Children's Center "Ocean" recently witnessed an enlightening financial literacy lesson, as part of a thematic shift called "Volunteers of Financial Enlightenment." Staff members from the Rosgosstrakh branch in Primorsky Krai, Anatoly Skobelev and Olga Vasjukova, led the session.

This marks the fifth year that Rosgosstrakh has been conducting such financial literacy events, in collaboration with the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization 'Center for Competence in Financial Literacy.' The lessons aim to help form a conscious attitude towards finances and aid young people in better preparing for adult life by teaching them to manage their money wisely.

During the session, the children were introduced to explanations of insurance terms, how insurance protection works, and the types of insurance coverage available. Live communication and examples from the practice of settling claims in the Primorye branch were used to help the schoolchildren better understand insurance principles.

The lesson concluded with an interactive financial quiz game, providing a fun and engaging way for the children to apply what they had learned.

Olga Osipova, Director of the Far Eastern Hub of Rosgosstrakh, emphasised the importance of cultivating financial culture from an early age for the financial well-being of the younger generation. She also stated that the work on improving financial literacy in Primorye is under the control of the regional government.

While specific details about these financial literacy lessons at the "Ocean" center are not widely available, it is clear that they play a significant role in the "Volunteers of Financial Enlightenment" shift, and are part of broader educational and patriotic youth initiatives in Russia.

Further direct inquiries to Rosgosstrakh or the "Ocean" center would be needed for confirmation of the specific activities and content of these financial literacy lessons.

  • In line with the "Volunteers of Financial Enlightenment" shift, the All-Russian Children's Center "Ocean" is also incorporating business and finance education into their curriculum, aiming to instill a consciousness about money management and future planning in young minds.
  • To complement their education-and-self-development programs, the Ocean Center, in collaboration with Rosgosstrakh, provides financial literacy lessons, which are part of larger regional initiatives aimed at improving financial well-being and cultural awareness among Russia's younger generation.
