Tyler Tech's My Ride K-12 App Hits 1M Users, Boosts School Bus Efficiency
Tyler Technologies' My Ride K-12 app has reached a significant milestone, surpassing 1 million users. The app, which provides parents and guardians with real-time school bus location and pickup time information, has been implemented by Tacoma Public Schools for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting 359,000 new students.
Since its launch, My Ride K-12 has delivered over 958 million estimated time of arrival notifications, keeping parents informed and reducing call volume to transportation departments. The app's success is also attributed to Tyler Drive, an onboard driver tablet that helps buses stay on schedule and keeps everyone connected.
Tyler Technologies has recently introduced Arrival Board, a new product that provides a centralized dashboard of real-time bus locations across the school district. This feature enhances the app's functionality and further improves the efficiency of school bus transportation.
