Young Europeans Voice Political Views in Detmold

Young people from seven European nations are gathering in Detmold, Germany, for 'GiveEUvoice', an international youth project running from 23 to 28 July. The event, open to the public and free of charge, aims to foster dialogue on political participation, European cooperation, and future prospects.

The week-long event culminates in a public panel discussion on Sunday, 27 July, at 9:30 AM in Detmold Town Hall. This session, titled 'GiveEUvoice', will centre around the ideas, wishes, and demands of the youth. Local youth representatives will share their views with invited guests, including Arne Brand, Dr. Thorsten Hasche, and Dr. Miriam Mikus, who hail from politics, administration, and civil society.

The panel discussion encourages direct dialogue, fostering a two-way conversation about youth participation at both local and European levels. While the invited panelists bring valuable insights, the focus remains on the young participants, who will take centre stage to present their ideas and experiences.

The 'GiveEUvoice' project in Detmold offers a unique platform for young Europeans to voice their opinions and engage in meaningful dialogue with local and European representatives. The public is invited to attend the panel discussion on 27 July, providing an opportunity to witness and support this significant youth-led initiative.
