Zonar Systems Launches Bus Suite: All-in-One Modernization for School Bus Operations
Zonar Systems has launched Bus Suite, an all-in-one solution for modernising school bus operations. The platform offers independent, adaptive routing, increased ridership visibility, cloud-based oversight, and a parent mobile app. It was demoed at the STN EXPO West Ride and Drive in July and is now available.
Bus Suite provides real-time visibility of every bus, student, and stop through a single platform. It can be used as a standalone routing platform or integrated with an existing routing provider, depending on the specific needs of the school district. The system offers an all-in-one solution for new customers, modernising operations with routing, ridership, parent communication, and fleet oversight.
For existing customers, Bus Suite combines with Zonar telematics devices, in-cab tablets, Z-pass student ridership data, and live bus route monitoring in one dashboard. It also integrates with student information systems to deliver student roster data into the platform, easing the onboarding process. Zonar's CEO, Charles Kriete, states that the launch of Bus Suite plays a vital role in modernising operations and ensuring safe, reliable student transportation.
Bus Suite was made possible by Zonar's acquisition of ez enRoute in September. The platform is currently in use by certain school districts independently and by others integrated with an existing routing provider. Zonar Systems expands its technology portfolio with this all-in-one routing ecosystem, Bus Suite.
